View Full Version : Is this a worthwhile buy?

My friend is buying an Orracle Autococker and is selling me his upgraded Impulse to help pay for it. I'm having problems with my Autococker VF, so this seems like a good deal to me, but I wanted your opinion:

He's giving me all of the following items that I want:
2002 Smart Parts Impulse
14" All-American Barrel
Blade Trigger
Ricochet AK hopper
Delrin Bolt
30$ JT mask
20oz Smart Parts Anti-Siphon Tank
Paintball gloves and other such accessories
It is in nearly perfect condition (I've used it before) and has only been used 5-6 times.

He's selling all this for.... 500$. Is it worth it?

It seems like a pretty good deal to me if it has a vert. reg. I have seen better deals on ebay, but if you like it buy it. It is an Impy ya know...

Pretty good, id still try to get him down to $450 though.

Thanx. Ill try to get him down to 450, but it also comes w/ a 15$ grip and all the original parts like the Progressive and the stock trigger frame which I can sell on EBay if I'm in desperate need for $$$. =), so i mite just keep him at 500. Thx for ur help.

Well I wouldn’t pay 500 for it especially since its Alex’s ;)
Also, don’t tell him I told you but the tank isn’t anti-siphoned (the anti-Siphoned one is broken). I think 450 would be fair but I think you should stick with your cocker for now.

P.s- He is only getting an orracle because I am getting one GRRRRR I HATE THAT! :pissed:

when it said in my inbox showdown had replied i had a feeling it was u. ya, i like my cocker but its so inconsistent if its not tuned in perfectly.... and even then its not impy material. alx says he talked to shawn and shawn said he should get the orracle even if he was copying you b/c copying u was usually a good idea.... besides, u copied him by getting an impulse, kinda..... he was the first one. the only thing im worried about is spencer said he saw alex throw it against a rock one.... did u see that? if so then i probly shouldnt get it...

No, it was Alex who is still copying whatever I get, and Alex’s imp isn’t in mint condition if u knows what I mean. Yah, its true, he threw it against a rock :laugh: . Anyway if you still what to buy an imp go around and test them out.

That price doesn’t seem that impressive to me.
I just picked up a 2k3 with dye grips, blade trigger, revy 12v with x-board, freak with 12” front and sleeve, all am 14“ front, max flo vert reg, delrin pro eq bolt, delrin evil bolt, new design low rise, dead on drop, then the standard detent and front and rear cap upgrades. All for $465.

for 340$???

dude u cant sell them on ebay because they all come standard on a imp so no one will buy

There may still be people who want to buy it if there creating there own imp or something. Maybe not sell it on ebay, just on the forums.

Uhhh.... the Ebay thing wasnt reely the question. Altho Ebayers can be prety dum and i wouldnt be surprised if some1 bot it w/ my old cocker for extra $$$. (case in pt. some1 bot my 1999 spyder compact deluxe and a 12oz tank w/ pin valve for 77$...)

anyway, the question was.... is this a good deal?
