View Full Version : Thinking of getting an OMEN.

Well fella's, I am thinking of getting an OMEN. How accurate are these? What is the stock barrel? Is it electronic? What is the purpose of the CAM feed opposed to the vertical feed? What colors do they come in? WHat upgrades are available. I read the stickies and searched, but am looking for a little more "in depth" info. Thanks.:D

1. yes they are accurate, they are consistant as hell, that leads to accuracy.

2. The stock better is as good as a boom stick, understand?

3.Yes, it has a electronis trigger frame.

4. The CAM is a anti-chop mechinism, better then any eye, and just as good as a Level 10 bolt.

5.Black, and now some new fades and splashes for extra.

6. Besides the basic stuff, you can get a PDP chip to raise the ROF to 25 bps and have adjustable debounce. A new black magic cup seal. And a 15* asa with guage port.

faster than an imp? depends. and imp with WAS board is faster than an omen with a PDP chip, but a believe a stock omen board is faster than a cricket board.

No the stock omen board is not faster than a cricket board.
The one piece barrel is like a one piece pipe without the 30* porting

Debounce makes the trigger more sensitive. the Number it's set on is the number of miliseconds the board must wait before it is allow the recieve a activation. Like if you have it set on 10, the trigger will be allow to shoot every 10 ms if pulled that fast. If it's set on 1 ms it will be 1ms till it can shoot between shots. So if you have it set On 20, and you pull the trigger 10 ms after the last, the board will ingore it :) This is why WAS is so fast, if you set it on 1ms...

If this gun is powerfeed or "cam-feed" or watever, r u saying the gun is capable of shooting 25 bps or the new CHIp is capable of 25 bps?

the gun should be capable of feeding around 25 bps and the chip enables it to do so:agree:
