I have a 98c and I wanted to know if there were any options instead of getting an expansion chamber that ruins the front grip. It's so comfy, I don't want to destroy it.

I was thinking about a palmers regulator, but I would want a drop forward with that.

The main problem with the drop forward, is that I don't know if I caould still use the tank as a stock.

Or, I could get a palmers that extends from the power valve, and then I don't know if it fits.

Is a regulator better or not? I heard it does the same as an expansion chamber, except that every shot is the same and it "regulates" the pressure. That wouldn't be very necessary for CO2, or would it?

Please input!!!

I'm new to paintball but just purchased a Ballistic Psycho drop and the stock tank fit if that's your question. The drop was $50 at a store but you can probably find it cheaper online.

Does it allow you to use the tank as a stock? Is it still comfortable as a stock?

It lets you hold the gun extremely close to your body which is what I was looking for. Yes I can still use it as a stock but the gun like I said is very close.

With the drop I mentioned the tank sticks out only about 2 inces from the gun if that gives you an idea...

With my drop i can still use the drop as a stock. Its just closer in. Also if you want to keep the front grip just get a palmer female reg. It will be much more consistant and co2 is terribly inconsistant.

its Psycho Ballistic not the other way and if you still wanna use the tank as a stock. your best option is to get a smaller drop forward.. I dont think there is a palmer that you directly connect to the valve.. Hmmm.. Your best bet is the GTA Expansion chamber.. It's just as comfy as the stock gfrip if not better since it has more grooves..

I represent palmer in everyway, and yes they do have different set-ups you may put directly to the valve. And is way cheaper then male or female.

But if you do go to expansion chamber, I wouldn't get the GTA for it has smaller cells and does nothing for the cost. Go to www.countypaintball.com and get an x-core, its cheaper and you can pick any color you want to match the drop foward ( if it's even colored )

using the psycho ballistic drop forward makes it easier to use the tank as a stock in speedball. I rest use my chest more to balance my gun than my shoulder. If you play speedball you dont wanna use the tank as a stock in regular position because your gun sticks about 2.5 feet in front of you, making it hard to snap shoot.

So yea, id go with a psycho ballistic drop forward or another similar one.

Thanks a bunch dudes! I'll prolly get the regulator and dropforward. Maybe female palmers or direct from valve. Whatever's cheaper. I need a lot of money. When I get on T3 which is at my school I'll check out county paintball. Wanna see other set ups, dude. Now I gotta go. By the way, I read somewhere that the phsyco ballistics drop forward pivots, meaning the tank can go on the side. Is this true? If so, It's mine already. Anyway, gotta sleep now, must swim tomorrow. I don't only do paintball.

schwimmst du gern?

anyways. the PB drop forward does not. its something else

try a lapco drop forward. (imo)

and well in airball. you can bend your gun in closer on the bunkers. with a long drop youll have to expose alot of you. compared to just pushing your gun and exposing less

What is the drop forward that does pivot? Does anyone know? I would like to put the tank on either side. That would be awesome. If you know, tell me!!!

there is a problem. The reviews say that it is the psycho ballistics drop. But, when I go to buy it or look on the site, it is a completely different drop. At least the looks. I really need to know the real name of the drop labeled "Psycho Ballistics drop forward". If anyone knows the true drop's name, do tell.

Whoever suggested or thought about taking a Palmer's Stab straight into the valve, DON'T DO IT. You can, but it will be fragile and generally a pain to do. I would suggest a Long Shocktech drop with a female Stabilizer.
