I was wondering if anybody has ever seen a drop foward for a Tippmann A-5. This is the last part I need to round out my customization so any links to sites would be great. Also, if there is any way to mod out another drop foward to fit the A-5 those instructions would be appreciated too.

Yep. You'll need one of those. Then try out some drops on your a-5. You don't want to get too big of a drop or it may hurt your wrist.

I heard the Lapco mount was a little off in measurement. I suggest the Dead-On one. I also think they are cheaper to buy.

Althought I hate to disagree with the above I wouldn't go with Dead On, they're plastic and Lapco is metal. I asked Tippmann About the universal mount and they said. . .
"Lapco's are metal, we carry Lapco that should say alot . . .. "
So I'd go with Lapco, with the universal mount you can put any drop on your gun. I personally like the:
WGP Torpedo Drop w/ on/off
System X Ten Drop w/ of/off
But there are others at www.pbgear.com , you do'nt have to buy from them but take advantage of all the cool stuff they have on their site.
Hope I helped.

I'm also searching for a good drop for my A5. I know I'll need the adapter.
Has anyone tried the Psycho ballistic Bullet medium drop? I think it moves forward about 4 inches and doen 2.5 inches. Cant remember exactelly. I'm looking for a dropforward that will put the marker closer to my face so I can aim better and still use my co2 tank as a stock.

im in the same situation as well. i need a medium drop that will still let me use my tank as a stock. but i have an on/off valve on my tank so i dont know if buying a drop with an on/off is alright.

guys
we cannot tell you exactly what drop you want/prefer
we dont know what you like...
your best bet is to try them on yourselves to see if you like them at a proshop or something.
btw, you can make your own mount if you want too :) its not that hard.

Whoops. I was looking at the older model.

No, they are not. I just took a pocket knife and carved into it. Out came metal shavings, the weight couldn't be plastic either. Although they are not sold by Tippmann, they are cheaper and the preform with the exact same preformance, IMO;) .

Man Pillbox, can you post a list of parts from your gas-thru, drop, adapter, and all the other mods from the out of box design. I really like how that looks!
Cal.
EDIT: Sorry, I just saw your sig. Maybe you could post links to the sites for them or something.

It doesn't matter if the Lapco has 2 reviews or 20.. It costs over twice as much (it a block of aluminum for gods sake) as the DOP and it performs the exact same function in the exact same way. I guess I might defend it if I already spent $20 on one, but since I bought mine for $8 I don't see the point.
