Hey,
For anyone in the STOCKTON (209) area, what are some stores around here? The only place i know of is [Some Place Special (http://www.someplacespecial.net) . And their co2 fees are way too expensive (5 bucks for a 12 oz).
I was thinking if there is no other place... i would maybe buy my own fill station and start filling co2 myself.
Thanks,
Albert

I also live in stockton... and yeah, someplace special is the only place i know of. i've already decided i'm never going back there cuz they're never friendly to me. i'm a 29-yr old pacific islander college-educated well-paid male that can be mistaken for a kid sometimes. not that i'm saying anyone there is racist, but it is suspicious when i go in there and don't even get a "hi, how's it goin? can i help you?". And then when a motherly caucasian woman or young kid with his dad walks in, they roll out the friggin red carpet. i usually wouldn't vent like this, but when it happens 3 times i've visited, that's when i have to say i'll never go back...
i usually end up goin to paintball paradise in sf, or predator paintball and ace paintball in sac. i kno that may seem far, but i'm always visiting those areas on weekends anyways. (ain't much to do in stockton!)
there's also extremepaintballfield.com in modesto, which would be even closer... you could probably go there on a weekend if your just lookin to get fills, or call them to find out what shops might be in that area.

Do you ever play at a place thats not an arena? I heard theres a good place near quail lakes.
If you are looking for a field to play at or just co2 fills, a new park will be opening soon on I505 outside of Woodland. I don't know if that is too far to drive but we will have $10 field fees and you can bring your own paint.

Are you the owner of this new field? if so, can you give me a few costs of stuff... ie co2 fills... cheap paint... ect...
co2 fills will be $3 for a 16 oz tank. Paint will be no more than $60 a case, and that will be Diablo paint. We are still working with suppliers to get the best deal and still good quality paint. We may carry a less expensive paint if possible. You are also welcome to bring your own paint.
