I use nitro in my M98 and it makes a difference versus CO2, but from what I've heard, you should use the Low Pressure kit to really optimize the gun for the nitro. I don't own a LP kit so I couldn't tell you first hand.

it looks to me like you have conflicting parts between the rt trigger and the proteam kit. I own a custome 98 and rt trigger and I am a little leary about the proteam kit. Anybody with some info on the subject would be much appriciated.

RTs are ok, but don't get one. Get nitro, the low pressure kit and a double trigger. Then you will have a great gun.

Listen up, I already have an rt trigger, and it works great for me, I can easily spit out full auto, my questions concerns the compatibility of the rt kit with the nitrogen/HPA kit produced by tipmann

Why would tippman make a HPA kit? Or are you talking about the LP kit? If you are, HPA does not need LP to utilize its advantages over C02. It runs great HP and LP.

check the tippmann website

Thats a really cool kit, but the thing I don't understand is why they couldn't do that with c02 aswell. All they would need is a reg that tolerates c02.

my questionis wel that ultra spiffy kit conflict with the response trigger, cause it looks to me like it would

I've talked to some airsmiths, and the consensus is, the LP kit from Tippmann is mechanically compatible with the Response Trigger. So, they can physically be in one gun at one time. However, no one seems to be certain as to whether or not you will end up "starving" the gun. If that happens, then the gun probably wouldn't recock or some other annoying things might happen.

I spoke with tipmann adn they said they will send me a larger hose and new fittings for the flow control assembly, and that it will work then

my setup
-silver custom98
-rt trigger with bigger hose and fitting from tippmann
-toxic performance double trigger with guard
-lapco bigshot stainless steel
-lapco direct feed
-tippmann lp kit
-ans genx2 reg
-hogue grips
-shocktech drop forward with shocktech receiver
-pmi68/4500 n2 tank
-12v revy

this works very very well for me i've got no problems with this setup

So, the response trigger works with the toxic performance double trigger? I've heard people who don't have RTs say that they think it might not work because it doesn't have anything for the piston to strike, but if it's working on yours I might just have to buy one.

I think the majority of aftermarket triggers will work fine with the rt, but if you find it firing a little slower put a shim on the back of the trigger. It's easy.
