I played today at an indoor place near Rochester, NY (known as the jello factory). It's really cool with tons of rooms and bunkers. There were 4 people on each team. We had already played a few games and decided to mix up the teams. I put on a yellow armband and headed out. We decided to play centerflag, and off the break I ran into the room next to the flag. A guy on the other team got the flag and before he took 3 steps, I hit him. Then I moved to a different doorway and saw 2 more people. Hit one about 3 times and gogged the other one. THEN, I noticed they had yellow armbands on and since we changed up the teams 2 minutes before, so did I. My adrenaline quickly turned to embarassment. I felt like the biggest retard in the world for getting half of my team out. In an effort to make it up to them, I grabbed the flag and sprinted right down the middle of the field. I guess no one was expecting it so I didn't even get shot at. I still felt like diving into a woodchipper afterwards, but the guys I shot were cool about it.

Yeah, I think we've probably all had a "friendly fire" incident before, except for myself of course.

Govno?
I am guess I am out of the know.
I never liked the Jello factory...I used to play at Compete quite a bit, but Pro Paintball and GRC definitly have them beat.
I got pegged by my own guy once walking off the field. He hit me six times in my pooper....oddly enough, he was mad at me for being in his "lane of fire".
Most guys are pretty cool about getting tagged by thier own guys. It happens man, I wouldn't worry too much about.

Yeah, I think I'm over it. You didn't like the jello factory? I think its great. Pro paintball has a great speedball field, but I'm not much of a speedball fan. Also, no offense if you're from there, but its full of "Pittsford people". This one kid that thought he owned the place came up to me when I was there..
Kid: whatcha got there, a spyder?
Me:...yeah
Kid: Ha! Well I got an Impulse!!! You wanna shoot my Impulse?
Me: No I don't like Impulses.
Kid: shut up! Your gun sucks! I wasn't gonna let you shoot mine anyway!
I noticed that about 2/3 of the people there are like that. At least the day I was there.
aaaanyway, I think I'm gonna go to compete in the near future. I've never heard of GRC, where is it?
P.S. I really do like Impulses, I just dislike jerks with Impulses.

One day of playing my friend went up a hillside to ambush and I went down the road to act as bait. I saw the guys on the other team coming so I turned back to tell my friend on the hill, and he plugged me twice in the neck. :agree:

Last month I was out playing woodsball. And during the fourth, or fifth, game of the day I was shot towards the end of the game. So myself and about 15 or 20 other people are watching the game from the Dead Zone. One of the guys from the opposing team got back to our flag and started to sprint back to his own back field with it. He gets a little ways down field (I don't know what my team was doing  ) and starts getting some friendly fire directed his way, so he starts yelling, "Fleshpot, fleshpot fleshpot!" No sooner did the words leave his mouth then he was lit up by about 5 of his own team mates who were occupying surrounding bunkers.
Everyone in the Dead Zone was laughing hysterically as this guy stops amid is own team mates, holds up the flag and yells, "I'm on your team, you idiots! Didn't you here me yelling the secret code?!?"
At which point I don't think there was a single person standing in the Dead Zone.
...It still makes me laugh just thinking about it.
