Alright, I'm hopefully going to get a CP one piece soon for Christmas or something, and as a read reviews about them I noticed there were a lot that said they're worse than stock barrels, and I also noticed all those are about 2 or more years old. So I'm guessing they dramatically changed them because now they are getting good reviews. SO my question is, If I'm ordering online, is there a way so I can tell that its not an old crappy one????like a change in milling or something?

The CP in the first picture was the old one, and I guess it wasn't as good as the newer ones. The new ones shoot pretty darn good. (The last two pictures are the newer version).

Doesn't matter which style you get, they both shoot the same performance wise.

That's right. Same performance, different look. :)

Personally, I prefer the one on the bottom, that kinda looks like a 2 piece barrel. CP's are awesome, you'll be very happy.

I think they are a bit smoother finish and look (newer ones) ... I have always liked CP's, I have one for a cocker and spyder right now and they both shoot great so I have no complaints, especially at their price.

alright, ill just get the cool lookin one. I was just wondering because some of the reviews from like y2k & 2001 were horrible, now the newer reviews are awesome.

Probably the bad reviews come from people who are lieing, blind, or have very inconsistant guns, or had a horrible paint to barrel match.

no, I'm saying all the old ones were bad, and the new reviews are good. So they must have changed ther barrel. That would be one huge coinsidence if all the people back in 2000, had bad paint, but the people in 2003 have good paint. I just made this thread to see if there was a way to make sure I don;t end up with an old crappy one, like the ones reviewed in 2000

I don't really give the reviews much of a thought, people give everything 10/10 or 0/10 after a test and ttheir reasoning is totally illogical.

Yeah reviews are a good idea if done by one person or an experienced group of people, but when anyone can just write up a review on something it makes the whole thing rather useless. Too maybe newbies (not in a bad way) look on the site thinking that if something has a better score than something else then it must be better.

Or companies or someone wanting to rep a company comes in with a bunch of different names and spams 10/10's.

yea, when i read review i only pay attention to the strenghts and weaknesses, and the review body if they compare it to something else they tried.
