I'm deciding to make my own trigger. Not electronic, and.... "Push trigger"? I don't know how to call it, it won't be a hinge trigger.
Obviously I'm a newbie at paintballing, so spare the name calling.
On the gun I have now, I have to pull a full inch to fire the thing.
I was thinking..... Is a half-inch too short?
This trigger also NEEDS non-ferrous metals. Know where to get aluminium or titanium screws? Or nuts and bolts.
That's it for now.

Heh, O.K.
I'm trying to make a non-hinge, non-electric trigger. Got any ideas? I just need to know what it takes to make a simple, yet very effective trigger.
I'll just delete this stupid thread if no one answers, I can figure it out. I was just hoping to speak to a professional about this.

Ssounds like you want a slider trigger, like the kind that used to be on the old cockers? Am I right?

I was also wondering on if i could get one of those slide triggers used on older and some new cockers, like the 02 cocker, for my tippy, is there a way to change the cocker trigger to tippy , non electric:eyes:

I'm making this trigger for a semi-automatic marker.
Yes, that's right. A slider trigger used for those old stock pumps. I don't care much for hinge triggers. But they are simpler, in a way. I just figured "I don't like hinge trigger, I'll just make a slider trigger. It's also seen for the nintendo light gun, and probably other video game guns.
The whole project is to create a whole semi-automatic marker which pumps its own air. Yet t'would be best if I'd take this process one at a time.
TJC, all I can say for that is; Yes, there is a way. You'll need to buy a compression spring and a small 4mm rod, amongst other things. This also means you must be serious to drastically change your gun in such a way that you may not be able to change your trigger anymore.
Other than that, I'm trying to let this thread die until I make a sketch for everyone to see.
