OK, i've heard alot of threads saying which best, cheap barrel to get; and they all come out with different results. so anyways... what do u guys think the best barrel for under $55 would be, here, ill try to list them all:

Wow, i didnt know there were that many <$50 barrels. i think thats about it, I got all the barrels of of pbgear.com so if theres anymore, pm me and ill add them in.

i have a J&J Ceramic barrel and i couldnt be more happy with it. a lot of ppl on here say to go with the cp 1 piece, but i wonder how many of them have actualy shot one:rolleyes:

The performance is not much different than most of the barrels in it's price range. But there are other things that make it a better barrel. I'll elaborate on it later... but right now, I need to go pee. :P

i have a J&J ceramic and am happy with it (never shot a CP 1 piece tho)

Dye Excel. Dye's precision micro honing has made me so stuck up that i won't shoot a barrel if it doesn't say dye now.

I have a J&J on my spyder. I can't complain. It's a nice barrel for cheap money. I've never shot a CP so I can't say much on that.

I'd say get a CP one piece.

Also I give high recomendations to the Bigshot and J&J Ceramic.

The Teardrop is good, CP 1 Piece is the best.

I'm done peeing... So why is the CP better?

Three reasons.

1. (My favorite) Customer Service
CP's customer service is next to perfect. I know a guy (Reneir... he posts a lot on here) who purchased a used CP barrel from someone. When he got it the person had really crapped it up (dried paint in the barrel). He called CP up and told them and they sent him a brand new one... no questions asked. :eek:

2. Customizablity (is that a word? ;) )
You can choose from three different bore sizes. This allows you to choose a bore size that fits your needs.

3. Looks
In my opinion, it's one of, if not thee, best looking barrels out there. Lots of different sexy colors as well.

And, of course, you want find a barrel that out perform its. ;)

Go buy one.

Performance will be about the same. It will certainly not be better than the CP though.

EMPIRE TWISTER. my favorite so far, and i have shot alot of those cheap barrels, and alot of barrels that are way more money than 55.

i had (keyword had) a cp one piece, then got a twister. i sold the cp because the twister is more accurate. and the 12 inch is 45 on some sites. also, twister beats the teardrop.

i can get a dye excel for 30 with icd threads ( i have a bko ) , i was going to get a CP but shootpaint is back ordered and thats the only place ive seen with icd threads. Does anyone know what bore the excel is? and if i should get it over the CP? thx

The Dye Excel is .692-.693. I personally don't like the barrel because it has such a big bore, go with something medium bored instead.
