Finally someone made a real feed adapter for the spyder xtra and EM1!

I am gonna order one as soon as i can find a place to order one from. . .

these are made by check-it products and they slip over the stock vert feed and are tightened with a set screw, here is the description from the site:

Spyder EM1 & Xtra - Slip On Feed Adapter
Get rid of the flimsy plastic sleeve. This aluminum feed adapter slips over the feed and secures using a set screw. No need to tighten or loosen anything, the viewloader fits snugly in place. Available in Black or Silver.

Do they just slip right over your stock vert feed, if so, then its just for looks and a little bit of a "high" rise isnt it?

I should get one of those for my Xtra. I am always afraid of the vertical elbow breaking in a game. Does anyone have an estimate of how much they will be?

well the stock vert feed requires this dumb plastic elbow, so this gets rid of the use of that POS and makes a true vert feed.

i would think it will cost around $30, that is what most hi/lo rises cost these days.

Ya my elbow broke right where the screw is on the bottom of it. I just screwed it in real tight and its worked so far, but I need to get a washer to put in it or super glue it.

Are they actually for sale yet? If so I'll pick one up right away. I'm not a big fan of set screws, they tend to screw up everything they touch, but its better than the plastic elbow.

Does anyone else think that the silver one looks more like polished aluminum than chrome?
