they're two very different markers. the tl is mechanical (and much cheaper) and the jt is electronic (thus, more expensive). a better buy would be the spyder imagine so you get the best of both worlds.

did you just figure that out, too? i saw your post before you edited it ;)

the tl and mech jt will perform the same, so just go with the old fashioned high quality spyder. you know the tl+ line has been discontinued, right?

The spyder.Its simple because the Jt is just a clone of the spyder,so the original will be better built and more reliable.
