hey i mite be buying my friends bko for 100 bucks.
its basically stock except for a cradle on it.
he says he went to our local pb shop, and they said that there is something wrong on the inside of the gun and that my friend could send it to ICD, and theyll fix it for free and redo the inside.
i havent seen it or inspected it yet, but from what he tells me, its a 2k3, the kind with the diamond design on the sides.
problem is, i dont have much money
so i cant buy nitro, but i hear bkos run pretty good on anti siphoned co2.
i also need to buy an electric hopper. if i can raise enuff money, im gonna try to go for a evo 2, but im prob just gonna end up buying a revy. im not such a speed demon anyways.
also, do u think i should sell my tippmann to raise cash or keep it as a back up? all it has is a dye ultralite barrel.
more info to come

First of all, its not a 2k3. its a 2k2. and running a bko on just anti-siphoned co2 is not a good idea, you need to put a palmers female stabalizer on it too. buy everything used if you can, and if you dont know your way around an electro, then keep the tippy.

ur wrong on the year, it is a 2k3, it is what i have, the diamond milled BKOs were realesed in early 2k3 and they have the 2k3 FRAME, thus they are 2k3, they also have the rev3 board, so regardless or milling (in a sense) if a BKO has the 2k3 trigger frame and the rev3 board than it is a 2k3, 90% of diamond milled BKO's are 2k3

the earliest bkos did not have a serial number, thats probably one of the oldest models, if its under warranty, and it is not screwed up do to user error then ICD will be glad to fix it for u, but the turn around time is like a month, also, u would probablt want a new hpr for the older one b/c they have been redesigned to hanlde high pressure hpa tanks, soo for 100 bux, i say get it, have it fixed (if it needs it) and get a new hpr and u got a pretty nice gun

I have a preserial BKO.
The only problem I found was that the HPR couldn't take high pressure tanks. When I used a tank that had an output pressure of around 800 PSI, it wouldn't work correctly. But I bought a new HPR with it so I didn't have any problems.
I bought my BKO when they first came out, and I've never had any major problems with it until several weeks ago. I just sent it in to ICD. This was the first problem that I could not fix myself.
I called up to ask how much it would cost because I thought my warranty ran out, but Anthony said it probably didn't cost anything because they didn't contact me.
So far, I'm 100% happy with my BKO, I'm sure you will be too/

im not too familiar with regulators but if its one of these early batch no serial, will it have a problem with co2 with anti siphon? im not sure if thats high pressure. i mite be getting a femal stabilizer too cause i hear they are very good for co2

for the price of the palmers reg and an anti siphon you have enough to buy a small nitro tank

^ yep yep, plus nitro is a good investment, even though i would get a new reg with that

sounds like you got a lot of help with the gun, so i won't elaborate on that. But get an Empire Reloader, not a revvy.
Reloader = better(sound activated), cheaper

reloader will not keep up with the ROF that a BKO can shoot at

A reloader is better than a revy by very little but an eggII dominates them, if you get any 12v you will just upgrade to an eggII like me.
