I was reading around and saw that someone suggested removing the venturi(the little star like thing) on the venturi bolt on the Spyder stock bolt. If i did this what would be the downsides? also could i put the venturi back in. and perhaps most importantly should i do it?

well could i put it back in if it really screws my gun up? and has anyone else done this either? the first question is the most important, i dont wanna screw up my gun and not be able to play till i get a new bolt

dude they sell them at pbgear.com for like $5, so it's worth the try if it will improver your efficiency....... but I recomend getting a QuickStrip bolt anyway(about $50), they use the delrin system which makes the bolt self-lubricated and you can take them out from the back without having to take out the striker and taking off the trigger frame to get it back in. But yeah it's still a ventuir bolt with or without the thing.

single large hole, three hole pyramid, six hole circular, or seven hole (six hole circular with center hole). They are available with or without o-rings. For an additional charge you may order your bolt tapped and heli-coiled to accept a rear cocking rod.
what do I get?
what stuff?
I was thinking large hole, with 3 o-rings.
If I don't get it tapped, will there still be a hole, so I can tap it myself?
THanks,
