Ok, I don't know much about minimag's and I'm not trying to start a debate, but what makes a minimag better than let's say a spyder?
Thanks,
and only the minimag, not the automag, or micromag, or all the other ones. just the minimag.
And does anyone else think those are just plain awesome looking?
THanks,

Back when I bought mine I did not now jack about it and bought it because as you say, They are just plain awsome looking.:D
The minimag, automag and micromag share the same internals and will have similar performance. The Micro is setup for cocker threads. So really the only benifit of the Mini is te cool looks. That said, what makes a Minimag better than a spyder?
For starters, they are made from all stainless steel, wich is much more sturdy than aluminum. The quality of construction is probably unmatched in paintball. Tom Kaye, the owner of AGD, takes great pride in his products and it shows.
The internals are setup differently than any other paintball gun. A gun like a spyder needs to have a heavy bolt because of its blowback design. The mags have a blowforward design that allows them to utilize a very light bolt, wich makes for very little recoil. (=more accuracy)
The mag also has an inline built in regulator, that is of the highest quality. If you wish to upgrade it, you can get the retro, wich is the same as the rt valve. (the fastest recharging reg in paintball)
the trigger is also unique. Instead of a spring return, it utilizes the gas flow to push the trigger back into position. this makes for a very light stock trigger, with a fast and mooth return.
Did I mention quality? Smal compact size? Kickbut consistent accuracy? Quality?

THis guy sound reasonable? I have been emailing him for about a week.
--------------------------
100 for a minibody is reasonable, may not be chrome
but i wouldnt spend anymore anyway. you can polish a
body to make it shine like chrome. i have a powerfeed
body that was grey and is now very shine. started with
a low grit sandpaper (200) and worked my way to a
(1400), it shines like a mirror.
i am not a store, but i build and sell mags and pb
stuff on the side. i have several connections
so.....and yes i am willing to locate any parts you
may need. i have them all. anyway let me know if you
need anything and ill see what i can do.
