The field I work for has 20 Spyder Sonix markers for rentals. And Im having major problems with one! Some how the air leaks through the barrel.......Then it stops.....Then it gets all clogged up and I have to use a Vice and a monkey wrench to get the tank off the gun. Ive tried everything I know of....Does anyone have any ideas about what might be wrong?

When does the leak down the barrel just "stop"? It's my guess that it's the cup seal, or the valve o-ring nearest the vertical adapter...

Nope no holes or anything. Heres what happens......I screw the tank into the gun and the air leaks out the barrel and fades away about 2 seconds later........Then I cock it and it fires like I only have lik 1/5 of air left in my 9 oz. (Sounds like its out of air) and then when I try to take the tank off.....so much pressure builds up somewhere and I have to clamp the gun down on a table with a vice-grip and I have to use a huge monkey wrench to get the tank off.......So anyone else think of anythin?

It's normal for air to leak down the barrel for a quick second. As the cup seal is trying to seal the air, a bit will go past if you have a soft, or short, valve spring. Soon after you screw it in further, there will be more pressure quicker, which will force the cup seal to seal the valve quickly. If it sounds like it's almost out of air, it's probably an air flow problem, or the striker o-ring's going bad or somethin'. When you fire, does it uncock? People have had sputtering problems where it goes "full auto" and then uncocks, and others have had problems where it goes "full auto" and ends up recocking itself eventually...
