Depends on your dominant eye. One eye sees depth and the other centers it I think. If your right eye is the dominant eye, your left eye will be whack. My dominant eye is my right eye even though I am right-handed. Shoot with your good eye.

This is basically practice. There is no other way to do it other than to practice it. Just think reverse. Train your finger to shoot fast and practice at home.

This is good advice. It took me a while to shoot as well lefty as I can righty even though I am pretty ambidextrous. It's mostly a matter of training your muscle memory in your hand to do the job.

Ive always aimed best with both eyes open - that mean you can shoot from any side.

OK I'm assuming you've played paintball for a while and know about keeping yourself as small a target as possible. you can actually pop out the left side and use your right hand you just gotta keep your elbows in and your head behind your gun. I actually shoot out the left more than the right because my gun has Left feed, but My bro's is right and he doesn't have any problems.

i am on my knees ost of the time and i lean back as far as i can and pop out and shoot right

when i shoot out the right sometimes i lay down stick y head up and shoot

you think that would be good for the left too?

I usualy grip take the trigger frame in my right hand, and the foregrip in my left, on my knees i lean out the right flexing my right hand extremely and snap shoot like that but since its uncomftorable i will most likely pullt he trigger with my left hand and hold the fore grip/regulator/whatever i have with my right if i am not snap shooting.

The only thing you gotta look for when leaning back is the guy who's got a good angle on you and see's you leaning back(at least in sup' air it's a problem. But otherwise it should work. I'm not accurate worth a crap when using my left hand on the trigger and right on foregrip. So i just rule it as I can pop out with my left hand and miss a lot of shots, jeopardize myself and get lit up. Or I can stick a little more body out, and nail the bsterd that would have got me.

It just takes practice. I seem to be a natural at it even though I'm a righty. (Thank God I'm normal). Oh! My great idea! Make a team of left handed players. Head for the left handed bunkers. It'll force all the right handed people to shoot with their non dominant hand.

I agree with rascal. When I have to shoot out the left side of a bunker I shoulder my gun on my left instead of right. Keep my left hand on the reg and keep my left elbow tucked down to give a smaller profile. I keep my right hand on the trigger and fire like that. I can sorta just aim by pointing the gun where I'm looking so I dont have to sight right down the side. The gun is so close to my face that it just goes in the right direction. It takes some practice but it's worth it.

A good drill is to have somebody stand a little ways in front and to the side of your bunker to simulate someone returning fire at a good angle. Then set up some targets in various positions in front of you simulating targets. I find that milk jugs on thin poles work great. Then just practice popping out of your bunker to the left and taking out the targets. I know this is more or less a snap shooting drill but if you can do it fast you can definitly do it slow...know what I mean? And dont shoot at the person shooting at you...they aer nice enough to pound your bunker with shots...give them some respect they dont have any cover...lol

hey man...
when you pop out of the left side of a bunker (and you are right handed) still shoot with your right hand.
just position the gun on your left side.

what you do, to feel the most comfortable, is cross your hands over. (put your left hand on the right, and right on the left)
keep your elbows down. you dont need to "shoulder" your gun on the left... do what is comfortable...
I personally lean out with my whole body, and keep my shoulders in T I G H T!!!

Something that may help is buy a shorter barrel, if you are a front player. dont lean back. that just presents more angles you can get hit from.
stay tight in your bunker. keep your marker and arms in tight.
stay as small as you can.

just get on a feild, and practice. you can do it at home too... make home made bunkers.

practice poping out of the left, then right, then left, then right. do this quickly, while snap shooting at a given target (waterbottle, etc)
snap shot 2 or 3 balls.... practice speed and accuracy out of both sides.... so you can switch eaisily.

i always use my left hand when shooting out the left side, i normally play on the right tape so it's a must. i suggest just practicing whenever you're home, i don't even realize when i'm shooting lefty or righty any more, tehy feel equally natural, my rof is a tiny bit slower left, but i think it might pass my right.
