hello to all!
unfortunately, im a mechanically handicapp newbie. whenever i take out a my co2 canister (and the cansister is still full of co2) a mad rush of co2 charges out of the bottomline and all over the marker parts (barrel, body, o-rings). the exhaust of co2 air will damage my marker eventually, i know it! so what can i do to decrease the rush of co2 when taking it out? i was told to fire the trigger and turn cansister, 2x, until air is out of gun. but each time i do this co2 still rushes out. help. thanks

Hmmm. Having a rush of air come out of the place where you screw in the CO2 is normal. But if it's coming out all over the place, maybe you have some old o-rings in there somewhere.

Ask one of the Mods, they know more than I do.

Well this is what I do when I gas up my marker. Screw the tank in until you hear the whoosh of co2 entering the marker, then screw it in another half turn or so. Then when you want to degas, turn the tank out one full turn (so the pin valve closes), and dry fire until the gun runs out of co2. Then there's no CO2 left in the gun (which causes the big rush of co2 out the bottomline).

As for it coming out other parts of the gun, that's just weird.

that big rush is quite normal, its all the co2 left in your gun. hehe, you should see the co2 that comes outta my gun with the remote. it isnt as much as you think though, with my remote its only bout 3 shots that i lose and w/0 it i would guess you only lose 1-2 shots.

Just dry fire rapidly as you unscrew. After you finish, if you have a reg, cock your gun and dry fire one more time, with no CO2 attached. Sometimes the reg can hold gas.
