From what I hear, you're not supposed to use a force-fed hopper on an Omen... but still, I haven't heard any failure stories about it, so I'd say Egg.

Bourne, they mean true force fed, like the halo. You CAN use a halo if the tension is adjusted right. the problem happens when the halo pushes balls between the cam feed paddle and the stopper paddle. that is bad cause you can't shoot. eggs work very well. a halo is a waste since you can't use it to its full potential.

You can't adjust the tension on a HALO-B.... can you? :eyes:

you can adjust the tension on the HALO, but only even more tension, not less unless you can get some softer springs or a dead battery. i tried my halo on it before i got my egg and it would jam the cam feed.

like he said, softer springs. but it isn't worth payin that much for a halo and not being able to use it at it's fullest. if you need that much speed, get and egg with z-board.

im looking at the light! as soon as i fix my mag up im selling it, and for christmas im gettin money, so im gonna go for the omen!! WOOOOT red and black fade.
the Evo2 works great, but i would recommend the zboard upgrade for it anyway just so u have nothing to worry about. halo is overkill and overkill for the gun as well. my empire would be good enough, but just cant resist the evo :D

nothing to worry about anyways caus you can't chop. you'll just get a higher bps with a faster hopper. but i too am gettin and egg, but no z-board till i get the pdp chip because you simply don't need it if you have the stock board. i'd get a fade...but i'm going all black with my omen, and the fades are expensive, though good looking. my omen is gonna be sweet all black.

EvoII Y-board is one bps less than the HALO-B, and in some cases, has fed faster than the HALO-B.

And the ZBoard EvoII is 22.x bps...

he didn't think before he spoke bourne. i shoulda just pretended he didn't post. frankly, even thinking about chopping with a properly set up omen is quite silly if you ask me. just a waste of thinking.

on pbgear their fades were same as black... but i could get it for cheaper around 400... but all my other little things i still need are comeing from pbgear... but i dunno if im gonna buy a gun from online or not... but still i have some time to think about it :p

well now their 125 dollars more with fades :p, the first 2 weeks they had them they were the same price as the black atleast... im gonna check for wholesale and see how much the fades cost... but if i have to ill get black but still get a red barrel and red parts.... although the omen with fade costs 25 more dollars then the bushy i was gonna buy... :p dang decisions decisions...

Well if you really want to get into it, just buy a Used Omen. I have one siting in my room ready to go. I'll give it to yah for $350. It's all perfectly adjusted. and I'll even chrono it to your liking.

hey spartan, i know this isn't a trade forum, but in a couple weeks i'll be buying an omen. so if you have it then i may take it off your hands.

(a couple as in the beginning of december, not christmas)

Yah I should have at least one laying around the beggining of december. It may or may not have the Det. Reg. Because I ended up buying one with no reg. So I think I'm going to buy a sidewinder for it. If you want, you can choose any Regutor you want for it besides the Det. ( if I have not gotten the sidewinder for it buy then)

Yea I got an egg and it works great... BUT if which NEVER happens IF you break a ball in the bolt some paint might come up and get under the plastic stuff and u cant get it out unless you take it apart. (It happend to me when I was adjusting my recock pressure when i first got the gun
