Im jealous, very jealous.
I want a job so badly(especially one to do with paintball). The closest thing I have to a job right now is being a Metal Fabricator which is good and all but the thing is I dont get paid anymore. (long story cut short..I was getting paid but now i do it free to get me into College faster)
It was good when I got paid, $800 every 2 weeks

I work at a small paintball field in upstate NY. Although not as cool, and not nearly as expansive as the legendary Skirmish, we have some pretty good fields. I get to play for free, I get discounts on anything in the proshop, and I get paid ontop of that. The only thing that sucks is that skiddish newbies get scared and shoot me when I run up and try to do a paint check ... :|
Life is good:cool:
Welcome to the paintball employee family Sladerson!

im on the same boat as some of you guys. im making about $17.50 working as a part time supervisor at UPS. make about $1700 every month, but half of my salary goes to paying rent and bills. kinda sucks. if i was able to keep my whole salary i probably would have an x-mag by now. no doubt about that.

No offense or anything, but that makes perfect sense.

it does but it's not like i know nothing about paintball. i know enough to work at any of these places (plus they do provide training). they pay more attention to length of time in the sport rather than actual knowledge. i mean, c'mon, i swear i spend more time on this site than i spend working. and i'm AT work!

I get paid $6 I work like a 10 hour day. Im only 15, and Ive only been playing pball for about 1 and half years. Its only on the weekends, so I might look for a job on the weeks too. Now I can finally buy my nitro, drop, electric hopper, and many other needed supplies.

$11.50 an hour to sit and blow whistle at kids who run along the pool its great, though it is $250 for the class it is quickly made up for.
although pb reffing would be fun

So Slanderson, what exactly will you be doing there?
Also, will you get to play at all? One of the perks of working at my field is the refs get to play a couple pick-up games during our breaks.

Not me. The manager of my field knew I knew a lot about paintball, and I was a good player, so he hired me on the spot.:)

I'am happy to say I am on a sponsored Team now(Panther Paintball and Pacific Paintball). The one problem is that I still have to pay for paint(discounted) So now I really have to find a job.

Well I just gone done working this weekend. Were aloud to play if business is slow. (its slows down during winter). Im aloud to play for free when Im not working, and I get a case of paint for $45.(Usually $100). I didnt have to take a class, because this weekend was there biggest weekend, and they didnt have time to train me. They gave me some paper but it was all obvious stuff. I think my manager said something about no taxes being taken out cuz Im only 15 but I dont know, Ill see when my paycheck comes in 2 weeks.
