Impulses =

More Upgrades to customize
More Techs
Cheaper To Repair
More Consistent
Better Barrel
Faster

BKO

Ligher
Cheaper
Less Upgrades (this can also be a good thing)
More simple Design'

Nobody has said an Impulse is better, everyone has there opinions really......

I saw buy a Vision Impulse w/

Tapeworm
Blade Trigger
Sticky Grips

and you set
and your set

Thats the problem with imps you have to pay exta $ to make it run smoothly, and could be said about the bko, cause they have crappy hpr's and lpr's. And the imp with vision is also $550 much more than the bko...And for $500 you could get a B2k3 which is great out of the box.

well both have essentially the same design, its more the quality of parts and quanity of upgrades.
the impy comes with an awesome reg (max-flo) bottom line already installed, vision, progressive barrel, blade trigger, techs a plenty as wel...etc
while with the BKO's you have to change the reg, make sure you have PDS, get a bottomline, and upgrades are rather scarce, as well as techs to help you if you break down.

its really personal preference, i prefer impy's over BKO's, but some people may have a diff opinion

an imp is slower than a bko it can shoot 16 bps while the bko shoots 17-18

yeah what he said.

but the impulse WITHOUT vision is what hes talking about.

if i had the money i would go with the imp over the BKO. because of its sheer amount of upgrades and sexiness. plus it comes with a max-flo. a MAX-FLO. and the bottom line too.

the imp is also made by an "evil company".:badboy:

this is what i have seen from both markers and i would have to go with the bko. those are really nice markers but impluse have a one shot drop off problem which they are known for. Speed is about the same but the bko has a more adjustable trigger. the bko is not as tall as the impy and is lighter. There is way more milling on a bko and with the money you saved from buying it you can upgrade it.

ps. this is out of no where but go with a cocker they own.

the one shot drop off can be fixed with the $20 tape worm though....its just personal preference though
they're essentially the same but have diff little things about them

Because the mighty Cuervo is above us. For he is no ordinary man, he is a god. Behold! A god in all his glory, and we shall bow before the mighty Cuervo or be struck with his unimaginable wrath. A wrath so powerful, that to begin to comprehend it would lead to the death of entire civilizations. But fear not! For with his almighty control and power comes kindness and generosity. This, my friends, is the pure essence of the one we call Cuervo!

i'd have to say omen. awesome reg, awesome stock barrel, cam feed, 15 bps, upgrade board is just over $40 if you need the speed, awesome customer service/tech support.

Last time I tried giving that speech, I tripped and fell down a flight of stairs.

The truth is that BKOs aren't tournament-grade markers. Better than other low-ends, I agree, but not tournament grade. This is an inalienable truth and there's really no debating it. If you think your BKO is better than any mid-level/tournament-level electro, you're wrong. A stock BKO can't compete with anything (except maybe a stock Shocker, if he runs out of air before you get a hot gun penalty.)

Impulses, in my opinion, are barely tournament quality, especially stock. You need to drop $130 on an Equalizer board, $130 on an HSW I-frame just to have a trigger and board that can keep up with many stock electros. If you play stock, you have a long, stoppy trigger and a slow board, especially if you buy one of the non-vision boards, most of which are capped at 13.7 (but who REALLY knows? Certainly not Smart Parts... If your LED is blue and the third number of your serial is 7 and it's cloudy outside, you have a 13.7bps board. Unless you've got a vision-ready body, then you have an 18bps. Of course, don't forget the vertical/horizontal reg. A Vertical reg multiplies your board cap by 1.2 and then subtracts 2 bps. A horizontal reg divides by 1.2 and then adds 2.)

For $900-$1000, you can have a top-quality Impulse that can compete with almost anything on the market. But don't expect a milled body with it--so you have one of the ugliest guns, too. For the 11-1200 you're gonna drop on an Impulse that's still made by Smart Parts, you could have a very, very nice Matrix, an Angel Speed, a solid Timmy, or be well on your way to an Angel 4, X-mag, or INCREDIBLY nice Matrix.
