Find a paintball field then go there and ask. You need a field to play at anyways. www.warpig.com will tell you a place to play.

It's not actually illegal at all. I play almost exclusively outlaw paintball, and the main thing is to either do it on your own land (preferably) or get permission from the landowners. Also, invest in a chronograph to keep things safe.

ive said it before and ill say it again, if you ever play in a national park you wont be arrested. thanks to budget cut backs they cant even maintain facilitys, let alone police the place. down in miami its mostly concrete, but i play outlaw in a "park". only bums live there and park officials only come by once a month on days we're not there and take down our cheap bunkers. also, since when couldnt you go on public land? if hikers can do it why cant you? and it really aint vandalizing, the stuff washes off.

Check your local laws for anything pertaining to paintball. If you find nothing, it is legal as long as the land is not posted 'no trespassing'. Then your only other concern is liability if a stray paintball takes out a hikers eye. Use common sense when choosing the area you will play in. Stay away from popular trail and areas you are likely to encounter people in. It is also not a bad idea to make up a few signs saying something like ' paint ball game in progress warning'

Well to tell the truth, the nearest field to me is around 1 hour away so I can't just have me and my friends pack up and head to the field. On top of that, I can't drive. I have heard some of the kids going to my school say that they hated the fields and they had more fun going outlaw.

I'd have to get a scuba tank to not have a field to play at...no way in hell I would go back to co2. Jaredu where do ya live? I'm about an hour away from skrimish...I still go....I can drive though...Skirmish is expensive but it's a top notch facility with a lot of knowledgeable staff. last senerio game they had a special area with techs that just concentrated on fixing you guns...and another one for their rental guns.

err............. try not to do it in Yellowstone cause they have Rangers in full camo with M4's patrolling the place all the time looking for and arresting illegal hunters and people who take rare plants that grow there........ and when I say they are patrolling I don'tmean they're driving around I mean they're hiking around and stuff, so you won't know they're ther until they've already walked up to you....... but yeah it's not a good idea even if you're not doing it in a national park, stick to fields.

i was playin in the woods behind my friends house once. a neighbor call the cops and they showed up with their sirens on and everything. they jump out of the cars with their guns drawn and made us lie down on our stomachs and put our hands behind our heads. i dont know how but the stupid neighbor thought we were shooting real guns at each other. we werent arrested but they questioned us and told us not to play there again. it was scary :D

I live in Indiana. About 30-40 minutes from terre haute....3 hours from Indy. We play behind this archery shop and the guy has co2 refills there so it is very convenient..
