Ok here goes. I just got done working on my cocker and maverick. I decided to take apart my spyder classic and oil up the parts. I put it back together (which i have done a million times) put in the nitro tank and the gun was leaking internally. I know a lot about spyders but i need an opinion. I changed the o-ring on the stricker, i changed the cup seal, but there is wear on the valve pin ( the gun is old ) i think this is what is causing the leaking. Not sure if i should go through the trouble of replacing my valve pin. What do you think is the problem?

where do you hear the leaking?

I hear it around the striker and the valve. I oiled down the vlave last night and did some other things and went to see if it was still leaking and i used up all of my air. Dumb me. So i'm gonna refill my tank and continue to try to figure out the problem. I'm thinking of just replaceing the valve with a turbo valve. It comes with a new pin. I think that is now the problem.

Changing the valve will probably work, you might want replace your valve and striker o-rings if you havent already.

I changed the o-rings on the valve and striker already so i'm thinkn' i'll just replace the valve.

I'll second the vote for a new valve. Good luck.

If you hear it leaking internally, then air is probably slipping past the cupseal. Getting a new cupseal/ valve pin would probably be fine, but just go for the turbo valve, you'll be much happier in the end

What do you mean, "oops sry?" How could you possibly bring up a thread from 2001 by mistake? I think you would have to go pretty out of your way to do something like that accidentally.
