Which barrel?

I'm getting a standard Impulse this christmas and I was wondering if the proggressive barrel was a good barrel to keep?If not,should a new barrel be an upgrade?Thanks to everyone that responds.

Its good enough. You dont need a kit since its open bolt. I say save your money and just keep it.

The Progressive is a pretty good barrel to start with- it's not worth it to get something like a CP 1 Piece or a Bigshot, but an Ultralite or Stiffi (if Jaster comes back and says they're good) would be a good upgrade.

i would buy an ultralite if i had the money or an impulse.

yeh the prog is a sweet barrel (same w/ teardrop) , but like teul said, dont' go with a cp 1 piece. Sure it would be an upgrade but it's not worth it since it comes stock with the prog. If anything save the money for either of those stiffi or ultralite.

Ultralight. The progressive is loud and not the most accurate barrel.

If I had a Impulse I would definately upgrade the Progressive to a better barrel but it depends on how much $ you have and what you expect out of your gun.
