What paintballs should i use in my new impulse??? do you think this is a good setup? Kapp gas thru grip, derlin bolt, wermstick, shocktech chrome drop forward, 12 volt revy, 20 oz antisiphon c02 tank with on/off, dye stickies chrome on black, and soon to be dye ultralite and genesis board. thanks for your help

hey... just use whatever paint fits in your barrell...
I use bigball (cheaper than other stuff) it works well...

that is a decent setup for your impulse...
however, I say dont get the ultralite... save money, get a freak.
it is worth it.

all the genisis is, is a select fire board. It dosnt increase performance it just lets you shoot, full auto, turbo, auto responce and more. If you play allot of scenario games it would be good but not much elese becuase most fields do no allow select fire

the ultra light and the progressive should give you the same performance. With good barrel paint matches

Your first concern on paint is where to buy. buy from someone with a very high turn over so you always get FRESH paint. For messing around in the back yard, I'd go with Big Ball, for tournys or importatnt game shoot Marblizer or Flash (note flash is a very small bore paint-so unless you get a freak, stick with the Marblizer)

32 degrees is not the greatest paint around its a thick shell with watery paint. The new advantage marbs are real nice thick fill thin shell. But whatever fits better marbs fitt real nice in my stock barrel.

I think you should get nitro and not a genesis board.

Don't be a Geek! Get yourself the Freak! And you will be able too use all of'em. Hey don't lock yourself into a one kindda paint only. If you travel it could be hard to stick to that system, The freak will allow you to use all kinds of paints under all kinds of conditions, it just seems logical in the long run to save yourself the trouble. And as FOM said make sure it's fresh! Nothing worse than mold on your paintballs.

the stock barrel is good...
if you can, instead of marb, get allstar... thinner... it is for low pressure markers... which the impulse is.

I tried 32 degrees team colors, marballizer fresh advantage shell, and rps all star. Teams colors worked as good as marballizer but it didnt break as much as the marballizer. Same exact performance except 32 degrees is cheaper with thicker shell. The all star was ok but not as good as the marballizer it curved alot. but it did break on every thing i shot unlike the 32 degrees teams colors. In conclusion if i want a good paint that breaks consistently on the target then ill stay with the marballizers and the 32 degrees tema colors is the best bang for the buck. and all stars i will most likely not purchase again.
