View Full Version : Barrel
Hey I am looking for a good barrel for my piranha sts g2. Any suggestions?
I found this one on ebay:

Its inexpensive, is that a cheap barrel or just a good price?
Thx in advance.
Question... If a barrel is compatible with a spyder will it be compatible with a piranha?

Yes, all piranhas have spyder threads.
I have been looking at the smart parts Teardrop, I think that is a good barrel, am i wrong? Which are the best barrel brands, and the best barrels.

studies have shown that there is no actual increase in accuaracy in the same barrel when lengths of 12" and 14"+ are compared. however, the longer barrels allow easier sighting, making the effective accuracy greater. i would recommend a 12" or 14" barrel. and the J&J ceramic is wonderful with medium paint. no barrel is truly the best; most people who play paintball will swear that THEIR barrel is THE best. find what works right for you and with your paint.

a 14 in. barrel can mean better accuracy if u have a low pressure gun. Unless your gun is modified to a low pressure than i would recommend a 12 in.

Actually a 14 inch barrel will not make any gun more accurate, be it LP or HP.

If the barrel is more heavily ported as the length increases, it will also be less gas efficient...
