i stripped the hammer on my stock 2001 cocker and was wondering if i should get a replacement, stock one or the shocktech phat hammer? is the shocktech hammer good?
the stock hammer works great. but if you have the cash to dish out for a shocktech then go for it.

How did you strip a hammer lug? You can always take off the grip and use a dremmel to grind the lug down to get the hammer out. The use an easy out to get the old lug out. Take more work, but save some money, all you'd need to buy is a new lug.

How the hell did you strip a hammer? Rule of thumb: If it came out easy, it should go in easy. If it doesn't, somethings not right.
Oh, Free Flow hammers are nice, nylon locking screw on the lug and the rod.
