i got a mag right now and was looking into a omen. would it be worth it to stop upgrading my mag and save for a omen? i was plannig on getting a x-valve, y-grip, and ule trigger. it worth it?

its really up to you. you can be faster on an omen most likely. but other than that its preference i'd say. an omen isn't lighter. a level x bolt won't chop on a mag, you could get a ule body for cocker threads if you wanted.

Dude mags are the most reliable things I've ever heard of and are faster than Timmys without shootdown when properly upgraded.

well if you read what he was going to put on his mag, you would never have posted that. it isn't electronic so he won't shot over what a timmy can. yes they do not shoot down easily, but you can't shoot that fast with a non electro anyways.

they are quite durable.

What?? A Mag with a Stainless steel body is heavier then a Omen. The anri-chop ability for the LX is just as good as the Omens CAM

i dunno...there is a lot less body to a mag. and i was just saying that a mag can have anti chop. so it comes down to preference.

the omen is really nice. one of the best regs on the market. quick, anti chop. you know the drill. if it were me in your position i would get it.

the new ones shipping now should be flawless. they cut the bumper size, fixed the back block, along with some other minor things.

Yah, right now you can't go wrong with the Omen, they already have fixed all the kinks.
