OK last weekend I was out playing paintball and I seemed to be having a really crappy performance day. First off I had a cloud of fog ( a lot worse than norm. ) with pretty much every shot and many of my shots were terribly off. Now, can damp humid weather cause this effect or could it be something else

your accuracy could have been the paint that you were using.
And getting co2 out the end of your barrel is normal and i dont think that the humid weather would effect anything.

had the same problem last time i was playing, it was really foggy, humid, and was raining alot...so naturally my paint got a little swollen (32* team colors as field paint) i was more into giving cover that day because of crap accuracy.
then yesterday i pulled out some of the left over paint i had and with less humidity i was shooting darts across my yard.

Do your balls shrivel in cold water?! If its pretty humid out you can expect exposed paintballs to swell. ;)

Last week I was playing in torrential-down-pour...That was great fun
I dont know if it rains enough in Texas to ever see this but go look at some of the old paintballs on the field, they will be swollen to about the size of bouncy balls because of water or humidity, they are also fun to whip at people
