My brother wants to trade me a Flatline Tippmann 98 Custom with new bolt, and drop forward for a 99 autococker that has a few aftermarket parts. Should I?

so he has the tippmann?

if he has the m98 then HELL NO, i hate m98's, cockers are sweet, the only prob with the pre 2k cockers is that they are heavy, just get that sucker milled and you will be happy.

if he has the cocker then yeah go for it.

Unless you just love the tippman and hate the cocker, I would do whatever it takes to end up with the cocker. You can find 98s with flatlines used for less than $200 easy while most cockers sell for over $200.
I would look at from a resale point of view.
Exceptions would be if you brother plays way more than you, then maybe he deserves the cocker, or if you have a decent job and can get another marker, and you just wanna be nice to your bro. Blood is thicker than paint.

The idea basically came up because I enjoy the sniper role and he enjoys laying down a lot of paint:) so i figure we could be a sniping team, where if I got into trouble he could back me up. But I think what I will do is let him buy the flatline and keep the gun and I'll buy the cocker. Then we could have a 'mutual' trade when we wanted to play our roles..
