New Timmys?!?

Well, I "supposedly" hear that bob long was coming out with a newer version of the timmy. I heard it would include a .45 frame and some other options..Does anybody know if this is true or not, cause I've been waiting for a while to get a new gun :)

Yes it's true, but it wont be marketed as "a new intimidator" but an entire new gun altogether. Like Timmy vs Defiant or Impulse vs Shocker.

Hey I was playing today at eXtreme Paintball in Modesto CA today and Bob and his Ironmen were there (I talked to him, got to hold HIS infinitely awesome Timmy w/ warp and Ripper milling and everything, and he got me out three times ):pissed: :D ). Anyway, he told me that they were going to be coming out with a new 45 frame for it soon, so there it is, straight from the horse's mouth. It was hilarious, me and my friend show up in the middle of this big tourney that we didn't know about, wanting to play some rec ball, and it turns out Bob Long's Ironmen were there, also wanting to play rec, also with no knowledge of the tourney. And hey, for all of you who have never seen him in person, I have no idea, frankly, where he got a reputation for being a camping fat guy. Yeah, he plays back, but he moves up when he gets a chance and actually was almost on the skinny side. I don't know, maybe he just lost weight. Did you guys know his son plays on his team too? Zack Long. Both of them really cool guys. Highlight of my day. Anyway, yes, there is a new .45 frame coming out.

The new timmy will have more than a 45 frame. It's going to have a different reg design, 45 frame, possibly smaller, and the bolt will be enclosed (like an angels). Pretty much, he dealth with all the complaints people had when they said they wouldnt buy a timmy and either made them as upgrades for the timmy (45 frame) or put them in the new gun (enclosed bolt).

Smaller would be nice, and a centerflag inline (what bob has) would be even better, bobs setup is pretty nice, i got to fiddle w/it, coolguy

There might be some of the Ironmen using it at the cup. That is a rumor from one of the Ironmen. No garauntee's or promises. That's the nice thing about Bob Long. He doesn't promise anything on any date. It comes out when it has passed the seal of approval.

when is the world cup should they be premiering there?

World Cup is going on now I believe, or will be starting soon. A couple of my teamates actually flew down to play and they left on thursday

The 5 man starts on Monday. The 10 man starts on Thursday. Bob might have prototypes there, but the team will not be using them yet. They should be out very soon though.
