i am planning on switching fomr my hor. maxxy to either a cp, sidewinder, or gliator reg. I would like some suggestions on which reg, and i need to know where i can find a vert adapter. Ive looked in lots of places and done searches and i cant find the right one. All i see is vff or whatever its called.

The CP and the Sidewinder are both really good regs however, I'd recommend the CP reg.

That's correct, your Imp body might not be milled to accept the VFF mod. What year is your gun?
Personally I recomend the AKA reg, in my experiance they handly recharge better (average) and are easier to perform maintenance on. But that's just my experiance.
Any standard vertical adapter will work, however SP makes one that has a mount for a gague and the PRV, so I would go with that. It is also very easy to install.

not sure on the year, bought it used, the serial number is 012343. I thought i read on wolveriens thing that after 11000 they stopped drilling em so you couldnt use vff? Do you just call up sales at sp? I have to do that anyway so i can get some dwell buttons/button housing since i broke one, and i figured i might as well buy 2 extra just in case i lose em when im doing something(once lost the bolt-pin to my cocker and had to buy one at my fields pro-shop, i can be a bit forgetful i guess...).

Well you should be able to see the VFF port on the underside of the body. How do you have your gun set up, as in do you have a macroline fitting on the underside of the body?
Yeah call up SP and tell the secretary, "I need to order a replacement part" then she'll transfer you to the sales dept, tell him that you need an Impulse vertical adapter. I don't kno how much they are, and I don't know if they come with a gague (but I imagine they don't). But if you don't want to take the one off of yuor current reg then you can always order another. And the dwell button equipment you wanted to.

Ah and the dwell button.... I just had the same thing happen to me in September. I just sent it into Michigan Paintball. For that you need to replace the top half of the board. That'll run about 35 dollars I believe.

not everyone... i haven't changed my max flo... some max flo aren't as good as others... i'm not sure why but maybe the owner doesn't take care of it.

i just dont like the horizontal maxxy, so im going to a vert reg, and iv heard lots of good things about the cp, and some mixed reviews about maxxies. I alo like the lok of the cp regs:D
