im wondering if I should have the drop forward screw hole pattern for my spyder Xtra worked on. I want the trigger frame modded to accept the standard straight screw pattern like so many drops need instead of the Kingman diagonal one. I don't like how the adapters look or how they drop the tank. Polecat can do it for $10. But he says that it may not be as strong as an aluminum adapter since the screw holes would be so close together. What do you think I should do?

If you're comfortable with what you're doing, I suggest you buy a tap and drill and tap 10-32 threaded holes for the inline hole pattern. If not, I would go with an adapter or have Polecat do somethin' for you. :)
