Say... what's the REAL diameter of Zap Spank? It says .685 on ZAP 's webpage, but the most recent new chart says .689... anyone know?

i just did a test with some spank from this past weekend and my freak inserts...

out of 5 balls that i did the test (put a pball in the insert and blow the ball through to see how well it fits) all 5 made it out of the .684 insert. 1 of the 5 made it out of the .682 insert. so my guess would be somewhere around .683 or .684, but since there isn't a .683 insert, you would have to use the .684. hope that helps, and i'd appreciate it if you mailed me 25 cents (1 U.S. quarter) to the "I just wasted 5 paintballs" foundation.

dangit. that makes it really inconvienent to use Spank. I'm not looking at a gun with inserts, and .684 is really really small :(
I want to be able to use other cheap paint... any other good suggestions on cheap stuff to throw through my spyder?

any other zap paint. Walmart paint too. Walmart actually sells good paint, but some say they store it for too long so it turns out kinda crappy.

dark knight- you're getting ripped off if you get your paint for 5 cents a peice!

what's the brand name of Walmart paint?

also... if not spank than what else that's cheap? I just want something that's a basic screw-around paint with a relatively standard (.689 or .691) bore...

I've shot Nelson paint before and I didn't have any chops. I think Walmart sells the Brass eagle paint. If you want to go cheap go with Zap Seconds paint. ZAP all the way.

dood...it's called a joke...

and btw...if you are shooting this in the backyard, then who cares what the bore size is?? unless you're playing recball or tourney ball, exact bore matching is pointless if you're just gonna mess around...as long as it's smaller than the bore of the barrel

and btw2...$27 for 1000 rounds = $54 for a case of 2000...um...i think that my suggestion of spank for $32 is $22 cheaper than what you recommended...

I like to get zap practice paint from II Sports here in southen california. It comes dimpled, but lay it out the day before you play and the dimples go away :) Only 25 a case too :D

Yo I was talking about the zap seconds practice paint for $25 for a case of 2000. However I have been ranting and raving about the Zap Seconds paint and I need to correct myself. I was ripping 16bps yesterday on my angel and I had one ball break in the barrel. Now I was shooting mixed paint and when I saw the color I knew it was the Zap seconds paint. I was shooting on the lowest pressure 175psi. So Dark Knight is right about the bore size I guess on the spank.
