Our friend Dan, aka AuctionJunkie, posted this pic of the new Dye Mask on PBNation.
at first I thought Raven had come out with a new mask because the visor is almost
identical to my Raven's.
sorry, tried to load the image, but got an error.

i'm still wonderin' how do you take apart the dye invision goggle system????????????????
If its like the jt's... i'm sticking with my proteus. but if its like or similar to the v-force.... i'd say bye-bye to proteus and hello to invision.

I had a pair on today. They don't seem to fit as tight as the JT goggles. For some people they will pinch the nose. They rest on a bigger part of the face with out any gained vision. I personally didn't like the feel. Other people will. Check them out before you buy them.

i love it, my boss brought two back from cup and i put one on and was amazed, they were soo comfortable and i thought you could see better the yellow tinted lenses are awesome too, he said they were selling them in orlando for 75, sorry ize, im gonna have to give you up and buy one of his invisions! :D they dont look as big and bulky as they do in the picks, it feels kinda like a proteus, they are so ugly you have to like em though, im into ugly stuff though, im gonna get a doodoo brown cocker and an ugly dye mask! j/k it is kinda star wars looking but who cares, ugly isnt always bad

I've been planning on buying a new mask with my Christmas money and I'm going Invision.
I tried one on today and it was heavy and feel like it dragged a bit around the nose area. Since it is a small mask, the weight didn't obther me(I usually wear a hat when I play so it fits snug). It was overall very comfortable for any mask-let alone the one with the smallest profile on the market! It's real easy on the eyes and comes with diffrent colour vents(I'm probably buying yellow to go with my DYE jersey). Also, it's supposed to have better optical quality due to the horizontally and vertically curved lens-I think it's just advertising.
Overall the Invision is too expensive. You are paying for a brand name. DYE is a good brand name for a reason and the Invision is, in my opinion, better than any other mask on the market. Some people will stick to their Spectras, Ravens and Morphs but I think this new headgear from DYE will sweep the competition at higher, more competitive levels.

i found out that the mask is taken apart similar to the jts. awwhh crap, i really thought it was going to be different. oh well, im still gonna buy it. looks cool, but it seem like there is just too much plastic than needed on the mask.

They do take about the same time to change as the JT's but they have a lens system more like that of Oakley snowboarding goggles.

whats wrong with jt's? proteus rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!
filasophikal

nothing wrong jt... i personally have a clear jt proteus with blue goggle frame with chrome prism lense.... but a p-baller can always have some extra accessories to sport the look. dye jersey, dye gloves, & dye invision. just like jt pro-series pants, jersey, gloves... and proteus.

The goggle part reminds me a lot of my around 4 year old dragon boarding goggles. Thats a good thing, however I doubt they will ever make them in doodoo brown like mine.:(
Quick story: I was at the yearly board/ski show in portland and was at a booth looking for a pair of goggles. All of the new dragons looked kind of goofy on me, this was in 98 or 99. Then the guy pulls out an old model that he had left and they fit soo well and looked really good, plus were doodoo brown. That and I got them insanely cheap since they were the last years model. If I knew who the guy was that sold them to me I would send him $10 dollars and my left toe, I love those goggles! (lol, no idea why I just wrote that)

DYE had a bunch on display and for sell at the Cup. I think they cost about
$90, which was a little steep in my estimation. Still, a distinctive looking gog and very nice
lens.

some places have them for pricing some have some in stock.
American you will see the price around $85 US
Canadians you will see pricing around $160.
Someplaces will have them cheaper. Online stores will be lower (www.unlikelyheroes.ca and paintballgear.com [probably]).
Canada is higher because of DYE's shipping methods. I am ordering a couple in for customers thinking about making a special sales price for people on them.
