There seems to be a lot of confusion over the names of some things in Paintball. The one that springs to mind is: delrin.

Is it delrin? Derlin? Delron? Delirn? Delren? Dalrin? The most common I've seen is Delrin.

A lot of people have confusion about Orr-acle. It's proper spelling, as given by Worr Games on their website, is Orr-acle. Two "r's" and a dash.

Anybody confused about how certain things are spelled? Can someone definitively solve the delrin mystery?

I vote for the "delrin" spelling, again because I've seen it more than the others. While we're on the topic of spelling, let's discuss the proper use of apostrophes...
To end a word like "it" with 's means it is, not it has. For it has, you just put a "s" on the end of the word, and there you go. The same goes for all nouns, even in paintball. just for future reference :D.

Worr games is spelled with two "R"s because Jeff Orr is one of the major founders and minds of the company. Go to the web site again. Now, about the bolt. I vote for the spelling "derlin" it is the way i see it most often and the other ways just make it sound like you have a funny accent. There ya go:P

The spelling has something to do with a brand name or a product name. The way that the painkiller is spelled Vicadin but the brand you buy is Vicodin.

Ever notice that they mispelled "War" in WGP? How about Worr Blade? Maybe Worr Gas? How about the Worrlock? Orracle is just another name on a long list of spelling orrers.

P.S. I made a funny.

Yes, I am aware that Worr Games is owned by Jeff Orr, and that's why there is the Worr and Orr usage. The reason I put that in is I have seen several threads in which many people misspell Orr-acle as Oracle, Orrocle, and such.

Sorry about the apostrophy mistake.

They spell it "derlin" or "delron" because DuPont has a patent on "Delrin" and I believe it has something to do with royalties.
