I see a lot of people comparing their operating pressure for their low pressure setups and im wondering how to check the operating pressure on my TES. TIA, and fawc im excited about the zero mod i can add to my TES.

the gauge on the V/A shows your operating pressure. ;)

How would I be able to lower it, does the stock regulator that adjusts velocity also lower/rise operating pressure. Or do I need to buy one.

heh, the regulator adjusts the operating pressure... this happens to change the velocity of the balls too, usually.

Whats the lowest i can set my operating pressure with a stock TES, and is the only way i can keep the fps up, while lowering the velocity, to use a different spring. Because i have some. Thanks for helping me out.

you'll just have to test to find out how low the pressure can go. start at 500psi. with your stock springs, then work your way down. (set it at 500psi. without any paintballs in the breach, fire once, twice, and then three times. then turn the velocity adjuster some, then fire it 3 times. then, if it recocks each time and doesn't "sputter", you know you can work at that pressure.)
-the velocity of a paintball, is interchanged with "fps"
-you want to lower the pressure and keep the same "fps", or "velocity"
-i would just try combinations of the springs you have and just pay attention to what happens; maybe write it down.
-i think most stock T.E.S.'s can go down to around 375psi.
-a good choice may be to use a light valve spring and a medium, or stock, main spring... even better would be a light/light spring ratio. i would not use a heavy main spring, period. but ya can try it...

Sorry my last question was worded bad. One more thing, where do i get a lighter valve spring and lighter main spring because my kit came with only main springs and the lightest one was equal to the stock spring and then two stronger springs to bring the fps up.
Also. Whenever I have replaced cupseals in the past, I cant see a difference between the bad one and the good one. What makes them go bad or be born bad? Is there anyway I can take a bad one and fine sand it or something to make it work. thanks

-a good spring kit is the 32* 9-spring kit... you'll only want, or need 6 of them. they have 3 main springs and 3 valve springs... they can be found at most paintball stores online and probably most fields... also, they are on eBay.
-cupseals... you want the cupseal to be soft. this allows it to easily seal around the valve hole. this prevents air from leaking, that's all. brass cup seals are bad. a lapco cup seal is great.
*i would highly recommend getting the Maddman Rocket Valve though. it will replace your whole valve assembly. Maddman's website is www.maddmanproducts.com , but they valves can be found very cheap at: www.samspaintball.com , under Marker Accessories, then Spyder, or Black Dragun accessories.

Well the thing is, the valve on the TES is a high flow valve and the cup seal is bigger than other clones, the spring is also softer and a different shape. So idk if there are new springs for it. And would sanding a cup seal possibly make it work.

oh, i wasn't sure if what i saw about the T.E.S. was true... awesome... btw, i'll be getting my T.E.S. probably by Monday... sanding the cup seal... i'm not sure... how are you thinking of sanding it? i don't see why it would help...

Im not realy sure, lol, maybe using a fine grit sand paper like 600 and just making a new surface since the current one leaks. Sounds dumb but if it saves shipping time and 15$ which is what a dragun rep said it would cost, why not.
