Airsoft and paintball?

could i use airsoft guns with pbs in them for paintball games? also to anyone who has one im thinking of getting an electric spring semi auto type thingy, and i was wondering if it would be effective as a short range back up gun? do the paintballs break on the person? how much paint do they leave? the ad said it could go 75 feet with a steel bb so how far would it go with a pb bb?

I have a couple of cheap-spring action airsoft guns. I have a Ruger pistol, and an MP5. I can tell you that the paintballsfor these guns are very expensive, and are almost impossible to get to break on anything but a goggle, or pack. The range is also only about 30 feet if you expect a break. One of the minis filled with the 6mm paintballs might make a good backup playing a scenario or friendly woods play whrere your friends might call themselves out even if it didn't break, but I sure wouldn't try using one in any game that matters much.
