Low cost/free paintball logos/banners team banners

Ok i been workign in photoshop for over 2 1/2 years now I am pretty skilled at it. I am now designing logos/banners for friends..

ummm, thats called fonts and filters, they are not even artistcly done

those are NOTHING special

i've had photoshop for less than a year and im pretty sure that i could do any of those things if i had the fonts and filters that you are using.

try harder do some tutorials.

i know im not the greatest out there, but i agree with mutt, i mean all that was done to that first banner of Woot's was that Shotty texy and Plastic wrap Filter.


I mean com'on, my 3yr old sis could do better than that!.
Mutts Sh*t is Tight, those lightning bolts im still trying to figure out, but i can't.

how to make lightning bolts: although the ones in his is an add-on filter i'm pretty sure because those just look so clean

make a new layer and fill it white
select white as the foreground color and black as the background color
go to filter/render/difference clouds
hit ctrl + i to invert the colors, if this appears good you stop skip the next step, if it doesn't read further
hit ctrl + i again to get rid of this previous step, then hit ctrl + f to repeat the filter, afterwords hit ctrl + i again to see what the lightining looks like
repeat the above step until you get the desired results
then if you want to adjuist the color hit ctrl + u to adjust the hue and saturation, hit the colorize box and adjust from there
and then you are done.

lighting is easy and no that filter is my custom filter w/ the glass filter from eye candy i try to make my own filters also mutt is that the best you can do? wow because if it is someone nees to kick you in the face..
