I'm sorry Incube, but I believe you just royally PISSED ME OFF. I got a lot of pride for my country. It ain't perfect but it's home. People don't like us? Well Canada is one of our closest allies, so what's that say about Canada if we're such pond scum? Canada and the US are virtually the same country. So if you don't like America then you can kiss my arse because I never flamed any Candian and widely regarded them as decent people. I still regard you as a friend, but I'm kinda mad.

I am Canadian, but I live in Iowa (USA) right now, and I find that a lot of Americans think ther're better then Canadians. It seems to me that most of these people who have this view are rednecks. I agree with what incube was saying about how stupid these rednecks are. When I ask them to tell me why America is better then Canada, they give me resons like, "We could beat Canada in a war, they're just good at hockey, or they're just plain stupid." This could be, because I am in high school, but even outside of high school it seems that most Americans consider themselves better. My theory is that Americans just aren't educated about other countries, and since they only hear about what happens in America, they believe that the rest of the world is in limbo and that everything depends on America.

Next time any American talks trash "aboot" Canada, just look them in the eye, smile and say "You may be right, but Canada is the ONLY country in the world to INVADE the US and burn it's capital to the ground. " Check it out, it was the war of 1812. Yes it involved the British, and Canada was still part of the British Empire, but Canada was called upper and lower CANADA.
