How much would it cost for me to turn my impulse into a cocker barrel threaded marker?

Way to much. Sell your barrel than use the money to buy the same barrel, but in the right threads.
What barrel are you using?
Moving to Barrels...

Plus it kind of defeats the purpose of have different bore sizes..

I currently use an impulse threaded pipe kit. I just wanted to know about rethreading because I am planning on buying something else this spring which will have cocker threading. Everything does now.....

Ouch, it'd be way to expensive. I say sell your impulse threaded kit and just by an autococker threaded. You'd probably only loose about 25 bucks. Would definitely beat the rethreading price.

Probably under $100, but I don't know of anyone rethreading impys. ICD can rethread a Bushmaster for 'cocker threads for about $70.

What I meant was.... rethread the impulse to cocker threads and sell the impulse threaded pipe for a cocker threaded pipe. I then wouldn't have to buy a bunch of new barrel kits.

Just get an adapter. The adapter actually will work fine with a barrel kit because it is going through the barrel after the adapter. It's just like extending the top tube on your gun.

I think it'd just be alot easier to sell than but a used one. Do you have a full pipe kit?

I dont see why you wouldn't just sell it than get a new kit... :|
It'd save you alot of time, and probably money.

Missing my point.... I mean...
Buy a pipe with cocker threads and rethread my impulse to accept it. If I do that then I can use one barrel kit on multiple markers.

AHHH gotcha now. I gotta go somewhere. I'll comment on that when I get back.

That's one of few reasons to ever buy a freak... it's easier to switch from marker to marker.
However, the Powerlyte Scepter kit works on the same principle as the Freak. Check it out.

I've used the freak... It blows. I don't like the whole insert idea that much either, at least on the freaks and scepters anyways.

yea, I've heard some bad things about the freak also, but I remember when the first interchangable barrel kit came out: which was the freak. People went nuts for it:crazy:

I would contact a local "machine shop". They'll need a barrel from a cocker to measure the thread width and pitch, and see what they come up with for a price.
It's actually a pretty simple thing to do, just takes some "creativity" to find a way to hold the marker while they "retap" it.
