Hey guess what kind of marker I have! A Brass Eagle Avenger! Stinks, uh?
Oh, Well to the point of this unthinkable matter. I need to know what good guns are out there under: MSRP $300 USD. I've been looking at the Spyder Series from Kingman. I don't know what to think but I like the TL Plus. Is this gun worth buying? Or not?

Well, you can do a couple things with $300. You can buy a stock autococker and nothing else, a Shutter and go nitro (you can use our old barrel on it), a TL PLus and and go nitro and a new barrel, or Spyder compact with accessories. I personally spent my money on a Shutter and I just went nitro. I haven't broken one ball and my JJ ceramic gives dead on accuracy. But the autocockers shoot really fast. The Shutter's trigger pull is pretty sweet and there are tons of barrels made for it. And if you want electro, you can always throw on a hyperframe. Well, I love my Shutter, so that's going to be my reccomendation since I've never shot a cocker. Or you can hang on till you get $400 and buy an Impulse.

A Shutter? I read a review that the design was all wrong, but hey that's that guy's problem. Well, at least I won't have to buy some Tippman.

i dont think a autococker would be in his budgetcause first it costs 315 then u have to but a bottomlinesetup then u have to get a co2 wit anti syphon tank or nitro which ever u prefer and u need a 12 v revo if u dont get one might as well not even get a cocker but thats my opinion what i recommend is to get a cocker but save ur money so u can by a revo and what ever else want cause once u get a revo and nitro u really dont need to bye another one for a long time unless it breaks but cockers r the **** boy and thats a gun u can keep for years and never get bored wit it. i have a spyder extra and its aight nut ull get tired of shooting and not hitting where u aim or even that close but wit a cocker its how should i put it magical but trust me ull get a spyder then in a couple of months ull get tired of autocockers are the most upgradeable gun in the universe. but be warned it is also the must complicated gun known to man (lol jk) but its very complicated so dont **** wit it besides bolt aand velocity unless u are definetly know what u r doing . so thats my tip and i hope it helps u out:cool:

Since I live on a farm I make a good $50 a month. Now my one friend (the oldest in my class) has a job and makes about $52 a week. Now I live out in the middle of nowhere so there is no place to work. So I have about $160 left after a couple of parties. But the month is almost over. Remember I only save about $40 of that $50.
Incase any one was wondering I'm only 14.

Buy a used stock cocker. You'll have infinetely more fun than if you buy a blowback, and anyone will tell you a cocker is better than a Kingman ****ter

theres ony one stock cocker the others r pretty much custom made like the sto and the blackmagic and kapp and so on the cheapest one is the wgp 2001 autocker that is 315 then 20 dollaz for bottomline and what ever else u want but it works as good as black magic but just is a little less consistent and a little less accurate but not by a whole lot its still the best around for its price thought and once u take out a tourney team wit it ull be nutting on ur self and fall in love wit it

I have a spyder and don't get me wrong they are great guns. They take a lot of abuse and keep on kicking, not to mention they are upgradeable to no end. While that is all find and dandy if I had to do it over again I would have gotten a cocker right off the bat. I had the privliage to fire one at the local field a couple of months ago (first time I ever shot one) and they are increadable. I plan to get a 2001 vert feed for christmas *crosses fingers*. You would probably be better off saving a little more and going for the cocker instead of a blowback (which you will probably end up upgrading to more than the price of a cocker anyway). Depending on what fields are around you...you might be able to get a good deal on a used one that is already upgraded. There are some nice deals out there you just have to have the time to find them! Good luck :)
...on another note...the new 2001 cockers are suppose to shoot very very well right out of the box.

Just wondering Sephiroth where are you getting it for $334? I also want one and would like to get a good deal, so if anyone could tell us where to get them for $315 we would be very happy :D

Why doesnt anyone offer an Automag as a contender for a first gun?
They have been proven to be reliable, easy maintence etc
all the things that make a good gun.

He's right. And automags are far simpler than autocockers. Cheaper too. You can get a classic mag for like, $250 and throw on a new barrel. You'll still need a revvy, but it WOULD be a good buy. But hey, my Shutter can take anyone out, no matter what gun they're holding.

Because mags dont run as well on CO2 as a cocker. In fact, they're terrible on CO2.

Well, a reg might help. And he would have some money left for a reg.

Not unless you gutted the automag regulator and replaced it with an inline palmer stabilizer. And then you're looking at about an extra hundred bucks as well as airsmith fees if you dont know how to gut the AIR valve.

I run my mag on CO2 (not the best choice) but i have put a anti-syphon on to prevent shooting hot.
I can upgrade to air at a later time if i have to.
