im thinking about getting an all american barrel for my dragunfly mech and was just wandering what you all thought was a better size 12" or 14"

the length of the barrel doesn't really matter accuracy-wise. all that matters is your personal preference on the length of the barrel. some people like a longer barrel b/c it can make aiming easier since the tip of the barrel is farther away from you, giving you a more accurate idea of where the gun is pointing and you can wrap a longer barrel in a bunker pretty tight, while others prefer a shorter barrel for the manuverability and lighter weight it gives you.

I would go for the 14in. I dont think that the extra 2in will help dramatically in accuratecy but adude is right it does help in pointing the gun in the right direction. Also make sure you dont get too long of a barrel because i put a 20in on my dragunfly and the ball only went about 50 feet. i probally had to increase the fps but i was already was running at 280 so go figure.
