Im considering Buying an Automag RT, I currently own a Cocker as youll see in my sig. I would like to ask a few questions about the RT first.

First off Ide like to know what kind of maintenance it requires, are there any aspects to timing it like a cocker, or is it ready to go out of the box, problem free.

Second, What kind of upgrades are NEEDED or preferred for it ,aside from a barrel. Also How is the stock trigger, and how much trouble will it be to Shorten/Lighten it if needed.

Lastly, Has anyone here used one and could comment on the pros/cons of the gun.

Thanks

I think I've posted about this before..........

Mag maintence: Pure simplicity. Wash off the paint and keep it oiled. With the marker pressurized you can even dunk the thing in the sink to clean off the paint.

Upgrades: Not much more than barrel and 2x triggers. DO NOT mess with the lenght of the sear rod. It will cause problems. Use an adjustable tank to fine tune the reactiveness of the trigger.

They have a faster recharge and need a special trick for chronying.
1) Fire over the chrony and hold down the trigger
2) Release and fire the second shot as quick possible. That is your true FPS.

But there are no problems with the gun that I should know of, aside from a Double Trigger upgrade, which I assumed I would need.

Ive allready Got a good Tank, So ill just switch it between My Cocker and the RT if I get it.

Incase I cant get it from my bud for Wholesale price, Whats the cheapest place to get a Chrome Centerfeed RT PRO?

Thx for your responses halliday.

DOn't expect to pay less than 600 from a retailer, shoot them first as they are preferance markers, much like cockers. As for the frame, get an AGD double trigger frame, very high quality. The stock bolt mightgive you some chopping, so lookinto an ANS bolt.
