vl qutantum mod, check it out

i dont no weather 2 put this under mods r hopper so im a gona do both, hehehe :-D

so any way i have a vl quantum and i did sux, pushed balls away noisy yadda yadda yadda, so me being cheap i had to make it better, 1st thing i did wa i rewierd tha switch so wen u pull tha trigger it turns, trigger activated, thats was rilly easy. 2 i sanded down som edges in side tha hopper itself, not easy i had to tape som sandpaper to a pencil to sand it, 3rd tha "CAT" tail sux, u have to cut about 1/4 of of it now dont quote me on that im not sure just how much i cut off, srry guys. any who it feeds my needs now, i have a procarbine and i dont shoot too much, dont need to accuracy is bttr than spraying, cheaper 2. well have fun w/ this illl try an get som pic but no camera so i have no idea wen.

try to do some tests and see if it made any difference in the speed of it loading.

well im like a "sniper" kinda person so i dont fire to much, i got this pos for mi b-day so ill c wat i can do about those tests, so far it does 8 shots a sec w/ out ever skipping a ball, ill c if it could mor ill do tha hopper into bag test

Can you tell me specifically what you did to make it an intellifeed? I know how to do it with a revy but I don't have the money to buy a revy and I want something cheap for custom mods. Any specific details would be great. You can pm me if you want. thanks

yeah thats what I wondered. Something likeTHIS (http://www.airgun.com/downloads/eureka3.pdf). I know it doesn't have a board or anything but since you can buy a kit I wondered if you could do it yourself.

I heard if you take your eye out and wire the proper connections to your trigger board from your e-hopper then it could be trigger activated...has anyone tried it before?

i know exactly how to do it, just find the battery cords that go to the hopper motor, cut the positive in half, add longer wire to it, run it to electro frame, add a similar size switch to the very top of the frame switch so that wen you push the trigger back it hits both switches, that would be easy to do and itll cost like 3 bux at the most

hanging wire you mean if you use the double wire, what i would do is just feed it along side the gun at the top, im looking at my gun and it would be perfectly concealed, i think im gonna do that now

i was being...really dumb when i bought this but what can i do. so how are those pictures coming along also what would you recommend this hopper for once all the upgrades have been done. a sniper position or more of an assult position (for wood games)? does it feed faster with the tail cut by a 1/4? i also heard that this stupid hopper has chopped some balls, anyone ever have this problem?

this is what i did. I took the hopper and moded the battery secuit i put on wire on 1 side of the trigger and one on the gun when you pull the trigger it connects the circuit and starts spinning sound like a good idea?

this just in, got my quantum walmart special, i was just gonna say, this is onbe sweet hopper, it loads just as fast as my revvy 12v w/x-board with only 110 balls in it

keep about 100 rnds in it and it will feed freggin fast as a mofo

go buy one now they are sweet, especially after i mod mine

ok take the wire, either color will do, and run it to ure trigger frame, then just wire it into a microswitch so that every time you pull the trigger the quantum spins, plus if you hold the trigger it keeps spinning!

it works awesome and i got my microswitch at radioshack for $2.50 and i used some old wire i found

I agree.
A Quantum will never feed as fast as a 12v Revvy, even if you strapped a V-8 to the damn thing.
I mean, c'mon guys... a Quantum is barely as fast as a regular gravity-fed hopper as it is.
