ok lately my stock impulse has been acting up. at semi-high rates of fire there is major shootodwn (around 8-10bps), the balls will start to lob like crazy righgt in front of me and hit my own bunker. sometimes 3-4 balls will just stay in the barrel, ill shoot then theyll all come out. sometimes it doesnt even happen at high rates of fire, ill take single shots and one ball will just drop out of the barrel and the next will be fine. what do you think is wrong?
i have a version 2 non-vision cricket board i think the dwell is set at like 10. my operating pressure is 190-200 and if i am shooting consistently it is around 250-260fps. i wasnt low on gas and the gas was entering the marker at its fullest i dont know whats wrong if i dont find out soon i am getting rid of this thing it sucks!!

Remember, clean your marker after every day of play.
Take care of your marker and it will take care of you! :-D

change your battery, clean the maxflow and check the tank reg. my 47/3000 p.e tank reg stopped working on a full 3000psi fill i could push in the nipple with my finger so check that to. to take apart the max just unscrew the front cap and clean the stuff in there and the back you need a big allen key to open it up.

since you cant take your ram assembly out, that's probably the problem

Do you have a tapeworm or LPR setup?
If you don't then you need to get one immediately.
Try lowering your pressure, I run mine around 150-160.
Also your dwell seems a bit high.

if i set the dwell lower then 10 at around 180-200 it wont even complete a full shot.
and i dont have a tapeworm or lpr...why do i need one?

get a tapeworm for now...ask for an lpr for christmas if ya want
it helps stabalize pressure and stuff like that...

Hey, do you have to have your pressure stupid high with a really high dwell setting, it may be the hammer housing. i changed mine out with the new designz hamer hosuing and now it runs great.

when i first got my imp i had the same problem if you don't put the bolt pin in and its in front of the hammer it will dent the hammer and cuases shoot down alittle also check your bolt o-ring that will cause that... Mine might have been the same... I shoot like 3 rnds at 10 bps or higher and it will shoot softer and softer until it won't come out the barrel so i wasn't able to shoot fast at all.

You need a tapeworm to prevent that shoot down. It will give you more pressure. For max performance get a LPR.
AND LOWER YOU PSI!!!
A Tape worm will not effect shoot down. nor will an LPR. If you are sure about the air flow (the gague stays at 190/200 and you still get shootdown) then there is another place to look. unscrew the plug on the solenoid chamber (where the tape worm goes) and remove the Stanless filter that is there. It is a long tuble like thing. I have often see these get clogged and prevent the solenoid from getting air. If you pull it out and the problem goes away, you will know this is the issue. you can order a new one from Sp or simply run without it and clean you solenoid more often.
Most of the time, veloicity problems like you have are air supply problems or solenoind problems. While it is possible it has something to do with the hammer, I very much doubt it. Ofcourse from the sounds of it you have a damaged hammer and you should replace that on general principles. I would suggest a Rathole or the Evil SS hammer.
