Reading over the S&T threads, I've realized that an important aspect of the game has been forgotten...that of a fixed assault.

Speedball is the best way to develope this, and therefore I intend to play some.

Since I know that communication is vitally important...how do you name bunkers? I never quite understoof this, so what is the accepted way? Say there is a dorito on the 50...would you simple say, "Left dorito on the 50," or is there a specific sequence, etc? (I know that I use SALUTE in woodsball and if anyone doesn't use it, it takes me a second or two to sort it out).

Thanks.

*Dorito- a 3D triangle bunker....looks like 3 doritos in a pyramid
*Sausage-the ones laying down horizonally
*Standup-a sausage on end so you can stand behind it
*the 50-whatever is at the midpoint of the field, sometimes called "the temple"
*sanke-a low continuous sausage with "knuckles"(small standups....really small)
*subs-a series of low sausages that are in a weird alternating setup
*taco-looks like a hard shell taco from taco hell...err bell

Thats just about all we have at our feild.

So how do you call coordinates?

I personally don't, my team keeps saying they have a system but I haven't been taught it and I think it'll be useless. I just call out the name and say its "hot"(someone is in it) or "empty". Example "The snake is hot!" translates to "someone from the other team is in the snake...shoot him"

i break the field down into a football field and just clarify the left, right, or center of the field on the corresponding "yard line"

ex: "hes in the left 50 beer can"

I Always Break It Down Into 10 20 30 40 50.... As In Football. If Theres A Back Player To The Left On A Standup I Just Yell "LEFT STANDUP ON 10!". It Always Works Real Well... But If Your Playin Rec Ball Take That Extra 30 Seconds To Figure This Out With All The Others Your Playin With... I Guarantee If At Least Half Of Your Team Yells Out Positions Clearly You Will Never Lose.
