Life Jacket.

Anyone ever wear a life jacket or preserver, to a paintball game?

Those things bounce balls like crazy.

I would think the closer to someone the easier to make the ball break. If not this won't matter but.

My cousin brother and I put on life jackets and took turn's shooting each other in the back from like 10- 15' with a life jacket on. They bounced off so quickly. If they were to bounce off back and hit the shooter, they might break on the shooter.

Anyone willing to wear one of these at their field (man will you get made fun of) and get shot a ton, just to see, how well they would work in a game?

If you got shot in the main body area when bunkered, you wouldn't be out, it would just bounce.

What do you guys think?

This one kid that is like 12 or 13 from my school plays and he wears a life jacket or some sort of vest. He catches more bouncers on that thing than I have ever seen. Like you said they would almost bounce back and hit you. I personally wouldn't wear one be cause it would restrict my movement way too much and it would look really dumb IMO.

It probobly wouldn't be that restricting once you got use to it.


We played a game where we each wore one, and we had to run up and touch a frotress that had a person with a paintball gun inside.

Personally i think that people who wear either ridiculous amounts of clothes or wear things like that just to have bounce offs are cheats.

Of course its within reason - if its cold you can put on an extra jacket for warmth but that is open to every one to create a level playing for.

The only decent reason i can see someone wearing extra clothes is if they marshall because they get shot so often i could understand if they didnt want to feel it every time.
