Early Surrender
Me and me dad was holding off the other team from getting the flag. We kept them at bay for a long time then I ran out of paintballs. Not to panic I just fired blankly hoping they stay put then I ran out of air a little later. To make it worse, my dad ran out of paintballs and was firing blankly. Now I'm worried. I looked out and a enemy player moved up to a closer bunker to us. I thought its over and I just surrendered. A minute later after I surrendered the game ended, my dad survived and I was dumbfounded.

Surrender is a no-no...especially in tourney play. I personally would have made a move for the flag and worked my rear off to try and hang it. That's only option you had left.
Was this a woods game or speedball game?
If it was a woods game then it could have been done. Speedball... probably wouldn't work so good.

 it may not be impossible but it sure is implausible - if you can't fire back in speedball, you're SOL.
now woods, you just gotta be sneaky. i played woods once without a marker (had no air left). it was c/f so i figured i'd give it a try. did pretty good til a couple guys had me stuck - they didn't know i was unarmed, though. my cousin lent me his timmy from the sidelines (i was near the rope) but as soon as i popped out i got hit:| .

only wusses surrender, its better to die trying
another thing you gotta be careful for is ball bounces- when i first started to play i used to call my self out when ever i got hit automatically thinking it broke
and if you are goin to surrender at least give the rest of ur paintballs to the guy next to u

If I was being shot at and I had no paint, I'd run like the Jesus Horse in the opposite direction.
Well for next time, I guess bring some extra tubes along or pay attention to you how much you shoot. That's all I have to say about that.

It took place in a urban ruins type of field. Only cover I had was a corner of a building and trashed up van then the enemy had just a ruined truck and bus. Between us and the enemy was a bush and pile crumble rocks.
Time limit per game is about 15 minutes. I got no where to retreat to and hide. I just surrender then getting shot with no way to defend my self.

Instead of surrendering yourself you could have just ran around and try to make the enemy surrender.
