alright well, It's time to finaly clean my maxxy, but I dont know how to take it apart :| . I know how to take the bottom internals off by just unscrewing the bottom cap, I read the FAQ at kamsworld and did a search but cant seem to find anything. So how do I take it apart properly? Its a Vert. Maxxy... Im just getting inconsistancy so I ve got to clean it. Thanks alot fellas -Splat-
Theres 2 or 3 little screws around the top that need to be un screwed, then the 3 big screws in the center. Itll need to be unscrewed from you gun, then take a wrench and twist the top part off. (right under the threads) I think that should answer your question.....

This is probably a stupid question, but could someone enlighten us on how you clean a reg? Preferably both of the maxflos.....

Here is a link on how to do it on the IOG boards: http://www.impulseownersgroup.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1975
I believe you may have to be regeristed to view it, but it is a great forum with tons of information.

thanks guys, but unfortunately I cross threaded the bottom cap to the reg , and the threads are worthless now :( So it looks like I wont be using the maxflow until I figure out something. I'll be using a Centerflag Inline reg. Do you guys think the centerfalg will work good on my RAT?

The centerflag reg should be find. Heh, take a look at all the matrixes with them.... I'd say forget the maxflo and buy a cp reg.
